Mallika Chopra – The Importance of Establishing Intention

2010, Cultural Studies
Presented By: Mallika Chopra

Mallika Chopra talks about what it was like being raised as Deepak Chopra’s daughter. With charm and humour she describes how at a young age she was given the foundation for growing up by having to set intentions for her life on a daily basis “with the belief that they would happen.” She relates a fascinating tale of how the concept of the power of intent flowed from her paternal grandparents’ beliefs, were passed on to her father, and taught to her and her brother. As an adult she discovered the power of the media to change the world. She explains how she combined this revelation with her knowledge and experience of intention as an organizing power and created a successful social enterprise.
