Joseph MacInnis – TEDcity 2000

2000
Presented By: Joe Macinnis

Joseph Macinnes – aka Dr. Joe – has logged more than 5,000 hours under the Atlantic, Pacific and Arctic Oceans. Among his many undersea accomplishments, he led the first team of scientists to dive under the ice at the North Pole and was among the first to dive to the Titanic. This Canadian physician, scientist and author was at our very first conference back in 2000 to share the story of a Russian friend who risked his career and even life to share top secret details about a sunken nuclear sub that he feared was leaking radioactive material into the ocean.
