Barth Netterfield – Seeing Stars

As the leading expert on balloon-borne telescopes, Canadian astrophysicist Barth Netterfield is seeing stars and lots of them, thanks to his BLAST telescope.  Here he shares with our idealists how the telescope is peeling back the layers of star dust to peek through to see new stars forming, young stars shinning brightly and newly discovered galaxies.
