Jules Howard

Jules is a freelance zoologist, international non-fiction author, science-writer and TV / radio correspondent. His books Sex on Earth (2015) and Death on Earth (2016) -both published by Bloomsbury- offer a personal take on the evolution of life on Earth, and why life is, on the whole, as strange as it appears. As well as writing, Jules acts as a UK Science Ambassador. In the last five years, Jules has worked with 100,000 pupils, encouraging careers in science including palaeontology, zoology and genetics. Jules also presents at (and hosts for) science festivals, including Edinburgh International Science Festival and Cheltenham Science Festival.
