Terry Mosher’s editorial page cartoons have been commenting on the political landscape of Canada and the world for the past 30 years.
He is currently editorial cartoonist for The Montreal Gazette and cartoon editor for Maclean’s magazine. Mosher’s nom de plume is ‘Aislin’ (the name of his oldest daughter).
He is syndicated to newspapers throughout Canada and has freelanced in the U.S. and abroad for such publications as The New York Times, Times magazine, The National Lampoon, Harper’s, The Atlantic Monthly and Punch.
The recipient of two National Newspaper Awards and five individual prizes from the The International Salon of Caricature, in 1985 Mosher became the youngest person to be inducted into The Canadian News Hall of Fame.
In May 2003, he was made an Officer of the Order of Canada. He has produced thirty-two books, include In Your Face and The Hecklers.
An avid baseball fan, Mosher is a twenty-year member of The Baseball Writers’ Association of America.
