Adam Bly

SEED Magazine

Adam Bly is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of SEED Magazine and the Chief Executive Officer of SEED Group.

At the age of 16, Bly became the youngest researcher at the National Research Council, where he represented Canada at various international science meetings, including UNESCO-ICSU World Conference on Science in Budapest in 1999. There, he articulated his mission to build a diversified media brand that embodies the new face of science – one that redefines science’s place in popular culture.

Two years later, Bly launched the company’s flagship venture, SEED Magazine, on newsstands in 15 countries. Under his direction, SEED has since been named one of the most notable international magazine launches of 2002. The magazine has attracted a luminary roster of contributors and Fortune 500 advertisers and has garnered a groundswell of media attention.

Bly has been named a Young Leader of Tomorrow by Maclean’s, and a Media Executive to Watch by Folio.
